Luanda – Brazil’s volume of business in Angola from January to June 2009 reached a total of USD 900 million, revealed the Brazilian ambassador, Afonso Cardoso.
Speaking to ANGOP on Thursday, during an economic workshop that gathered Angolan and Brazilian businesspeople, Afonso Cardoso said the current world economic and financial crisis did not affect commercial relations between both countries, maintaining the same level of import and export.
He said that besides efforts of diversification of products in the business exchanges, crude oil continues to be a dominant product in the commercial relations between both countries.
Afonso Cardoso stated that the entrepreneurial ties between citizens from both countries are positive and stable, with more Angolans doing business in Brazil and vice versa.
