Angolan entrepreneurs search for partnerships in South Africa

 Pretoria – An Angolan business delegation is in South Africa to get in touch with local entrepreneurs in light of the recommendations emanated from the recent visit to Angola by the South African President, Jacob Zuma.

 

The Angolan delegation comprises businesspeople of sectors such as information technologies, tourism, electricity and water, oil, mineral resources, civil engineering, banking and agriculture. 

 

In South Africa, the Angolan businesspeople will seek  partnerships which can allow that the abovementioned areas be established in the country.  

 

Standard Bank expressed the intention to open a branch in Luanda, as well as plans to finance projects such as construction of shopping centres and petrol stations in the Angolan capital city and other provinces of the country. 

 

The interest of South African companies in investing in Angola country has increased since the first official visit held by President Jacob Zuma to Angola.
