Luanda - The president of the Angola Industrial Association (AIA), José Severino, today predicted an oil price raise in the international market from 80 to 90 Usdollars per barrel by the end of the year.
"Probably the crude price may not reach 100 Usdollars a barrel but I believe that it may raise up to 90/95Usdollars before the next OPEC meeting" - the AIA president said basing his prediction to the fact that the economies of United Statea, Europe, Russia, China and India have been giving clear indications of recovery in the recent months.
He recalled that during Winter many countries in the northern hemisphere are in dire need of oil and other sources of energy for heating.
On the possible beneficts for Angola of the crude price raise, José Severino said that the angolan economiy will get more public revenues deriving from oil, even without the increase of oil production, allowing the government to have a better public investment program necessary to support the private sector in the recovery of small businesses.
