Spanish Commerce secretary expected Wednesday

Luanda – The Spainish decretary of State of Commerce, Sílvia Iranzo, is due to arrive in Luanda on Wednesday, for a two-day visit, during which she is expected to meet with government officials and spanish business people based in Angola.

The information was revealed Sunday in Luanda by the embassy of Spain to Angola, through a press release made available to Angop.

According to the note, Slivia Iranzo’s visit is in the light of the “special attention” the Spanish government attaches to the relations between the two countries, not only in terms of bilateral coperation, but also in the ambit of international organisations.

On the other hand, a diplomatic source told Angop that during her visit to Angola, the Spanish government official will meet with local Minister of Finances, Severim de Morais, with whom she intends to discuss a loan from Spain to the African nation.

On her second day of visit to Angola, Sílvia Iranzo will meet with the local minister of Commerce, Maria Idalina Valente.
