New multi-use sports fields for Luanda

Luanda - Two multi-purpose stadiums will be built this year in Luanda's Kilamba Kiaxi and Ingombota districts, by the provincial government, under the youngsters leisure time programme, Angop has learnt.

It was announced this week by Luanda's governor, Francisca do Espirito Santo, after the inauguration of two sports fields, in Neves Bendinha ward, Kilamba Kiaxi district.

The official said that the construction works will be under the charge of a Chinese company.

"Currently, Luanda's Government has been receiving letters from juvenile organisations from various wards, calling for the construction of new sports fields", said the governor.
