Luanda – The deputy minister for Sports, Albino da Conceição, said Friday in Luanda that the Paralympic sport is a living example of the Executive's investment in the inclusion policy concerns.
He said so during a tribute to the Paralympic team that won two medals in the 2012 London Paralympic Games, through José Sayovo, namely a gold one in the 400 meters and a bronze one in the 200 metres.
The official said José Sayovo “makes us feel citizens of the world with his achievements that have allowed the singing of the national anthem at various events in which he participates”.
Albino da Conceição spoke of the beginning of adapted sports activities in Angola, in 1993, at a time when he himself also provided technical assistance to the national sports.
