Angola qualify for semi-finals of canoeing pairs

London – The Angolan pairs Fortunato Pacavira and Nelson Henriques qualified this Tuesday for semi-finals of canoeing in 1000-metre distance of the Olympic Games with a time of 4:16s.478 thousandths, lying tsixth in the second series.

 

The semi-finals are set for this Tuesday at 11h06 a.m.
 

The Angolans athletes will compete with the pairs of Azerbaijan (winner), Brazil Byelorussia, Romania and Cuba.
 

On Monday, Fortunato Pacavira and David Figueroa qualified this Monday for the semi finals of canoeing sprint preliminaries in C1, in a series won by Spanish, with a time of 4:39s 723 thousandths and 3:54.590 thousandths, respectively.
