Luanda – The skipper of Interclube, Minguito, said last Wednesday, in Luanda, that the squad are motivated for getting a positive result in Khartoum, Sudan, on Saturday (Aug. 04) against the local Almerreik team, for Group A’s first round of the African Football Confederation Cup.

 


Speaking to the press, at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, before leaving for the Sudanese capital, the midfielder Minguito also reiterated that the players are motivated.

 

     
The team’s Portuguese coach, Bernardino Pedroto, took sixteen players to Sudan, namely Mário, Tsherry, Hernane, Pingo, Kialunda, Fabrício, Fissy, Pirolito, Bebé, Nuno, Paty, Joel, Manucho Barros, Moco, Baptista and Daniel Lara.

 


The delegation is led by the club’s chairman, Alves Simões.

 

 
Still for the same group, two other Sudanese teams, Al Ahly Shandy and El Hilal, will face each other on Sunday.

 

 
According to the rules, in the end of all the rounds, the two top teams progress to the semi-finals.
