Angolan mission to London to decide on boxer Tumba Silva case

London - Officials with the Angolan mission to the London 2012 Olympic Games announce on Thursday the position to be taken on the absence of the weight-in that disqualified the boxer Tumba Silva, at the 91 kilos fight against the Italian Clemente Russo, on Wednesday, Angop has learnt.

 

The head of the mentioned mission, António Monteiro, said that the team met on Wednesday night and have not already taken any measure, but it is possible to meet again to find out a final decision.

 

Tumba Silva was disqualified at the boxing Olympic tournament for missing the obligatory weight-in.
