Petro oust 1º de Agosto from Angola Cup race

 Luanda – First league Petro de Luanda made to the quarter finals of the Angola Cup of Football on Wednesday in Luanda, after beating 1º de Agosto by  5-4 in penalty kicks, after a 1-1 draw at “11 de Novembro” stadium.


 
In another game, first league Progresso do Sambizanga qualified for the quarter finals of the Angola Cup of Football on Wednesday, after beating Kabuscorp do Palanca by 4-2, in penalty kicks at Luanda’s Cidadela stadium, following a goalless draw.


 
In their turn, first league Interclube beat second division Norberto de Castro by 3-1, while  Académica do Soyo downed Domant FC do Bengo by 2-1, and Recreativo Libolo thrashed Evale do Cunene (4-0).

 

Sagrada Esperança ousted Bravos do Maquis by 4-3 in penalty kicks and Recreativo da Caála toppled Santos FC (4-3).
