Angola starts participation in Olympics with female handball


Luanda – The Angolan senior females handball team will be the country’s first squad to start competing in the London Olympics when playing on Saturday morning (July 28), a day after the official opening of the 2012 summer games.
 

The Angolan ladies are part of a group that include the national teams of Croatia, Montenegro, England and Brazil.

 

The next Angolan team will play later on Saturday as well, and it will be the female basketball team (African champions), who will face Turkey.
