Luanda–The Angolan senior females basketball team was the first squad of the Angolan delegation in London2012 Olympic Games to arrive in the Olympic Village, to compete in the event that will take place from 27 July to 12 August.

Coached Anibal Moreira and Elisa Peres, the national team entered the village on Tuesday after holding the last preparation programme in Sheffield.

In the Olympic Games, Angola integrate group A together with US, China, Turkey, Czech Republic and Croatia.

Angola will play Turkey on 28 July for the first round.
