Luanda - The national senior males basketball team beat Wednesday the counterpart of Dominican Republic by 72-67, in a first round match of the four-nation tournament, held in Caracas, Venezuela.

 
The competition is part of preparation for the pre-Olympic tournament for London2012 Olympics qualifiers.

 
In another match, the host team defeated Jordan by 81-42.

 
Angola faces tonight Venezuela, for the second round, while the Dominican Republic play Jordan.
