Luanda - The new coach of senior males basketball team of the 1º Agosto, Paulo Macedo, said Friday in Luanda that his club will become very competitive in winning the titles and pledged leading the renewal process of the squad.

 
The pledge came during a press conference held at the club's headquarters in Luanda.

The new coach said the club's goal is to win every competition in which it will take part, despite the renewal process the club expected to undergo.

According to him, the renewal does not only imply the removal of the old players but also the introduction of a new dynamic at work.

 
"We will have a very competitive team at the club, because I know well the current players , as I have been working with them all for some years, stressed the coach.
