Libolo consolidate champioship lead

Luanda - Recreativo do Libolo expanded to six points the gap from the second-placed of the national first division championship of football, ASA, after beating Sporting de Cabinda 2-0 there.
 

With 31 points, the central Kwanza Sul province-based Recreativo do Libolo still have a match to play and took advantage of the goalless draw between the second-placed Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) and Desportivo da Caála on Saturday.


In their turn, Interclube drew (1-1) with Atlectico do Namibe, same as Kabuscorp and Académica do Soyo, in northern Zaire province.
 

Other matches of the round produced the following scores: Progresso do
Sambizanga/Sagrada Esperança (0-1), Santos FC/Nacional de Benguela (3-2) and Benfica de Luanda/Bravos do Maquis (1-1). The round is closing on Sunday with the game between Luanda-based long time rivals Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto, at “11 de Novembro” stadium.
