Luanda - Angola’s Petro Atlético de Luanda senior women handball team that over the weekend retained the African Cup winners cup after beating Cameroon’s FAP by 25-18 in the fifth and last round match of the competition in Tunis (Tunisia) returned home on Tuesday.
By the half time of the competitions, the Angolan girls were winning the match by 12-8.
During the competitions, Petro de Luanda beat Regiche by 25-19, Nigeria’s Borno (36-10), Heritage of RD Congo (27-9) and Africa Sport of Abidjan (24-13).
The Angolan team under coach Vivaldo Eduardo also won the Boubacar Fall Cup played in that northern African country.
