Iron reserve reaches over 400 million tons

Lubango - An iron prospecting area, with about 400 million tons was discovered at Cateruca area, Kassinga Norte, southern Huila Province, ANGOP has learnt.


This was discovered by the Angolan firm of mining resources exploration (AEMR), says its deputy director, Henriques Tiago Simão, during a talk on the Mining exploration in Huila Province, under the Mining Day, April 27.


He said that prospecting must end this year and the firm tasked with the work expects to identify other areas that have considerable reserves.
