Angola
2011 handball season ends

Luanda – The Angolan 2011 handball season was officially closed Friday night in Luanda with matches of the final of the “Angola Cup” in the senior men and female categories, Angop learned.

The final games, held at Cidadela Pavilion, brought Petro de Luanda’s women as winner, after defeating 1º de Agosto (35-28).

In the men category, Interclub revalidated the trophy, after beating 1º de Agosto (23-20).
The games were played this year only, because of Angola’s participation in the All Africa Games of Maputo (Mozambique) and the African Cup of Nations of Morocco.
