Lubango
ASA win national juveniles ladies handball championship

Lubango – The female team of ASA club on Saturday, in Lubango city, capital of south Huíla province, won the national juveniles handball titlte, following a 21-20 injury-time victory over CPPL club.


 
The game was very balanced, although the defeated team of the city of Lobito ended the first  half with 11-9 advantage.


 
In the second half, ASA, from the country's capital (Luanda), improved and levelled the encounter, and scored the winning foal in the last second of the match.


 
Before the finals encounter, Iona club of Namibe beat Sporting of Luanda by 26-21 to claim the third spot of the competition.
A total of 19 teams took part in the national handball championship.
