Sumbe to host international football tournament

Sumbe– The central Kwanza Sul province’s capital city, Sumbe, will be hosting an international football tournament from September 10-11.

Sponsored by the local government, the event is part of the celebrations of the town’s anniversary, on September 15.

Speaking to ANGOP on Monday, the provincial governor, Serafim do Prado, said the tournament will have the participation of 1º de Agosto, Kabuscorp do Palanca, Recreativo do Libolo and the secondary team of Sporting de Portugal.

Sumbe has all facilities required to host an international tournament, taking into account the investments that were made in the stadium, said the governor.
