Angolan referee in Libya

Luanda – The deputy chairperson of the five-a-side soccer Council, Manuel Pedro, said that two Angolan international referees will attend on 14-19 September a selective tournament, ahead of the African Cup in male senior that will take place next December, in Burkina Faso.

Speaking after the physical tests promoted by FIFA on Thursday in Luanda, the official said it would be better the presence of more referees of indoor soccer, but he explained the reasons for only two referees.

"We have only three international referees. The referee Bento Romeu, of Huíla province, did not attend this training due to a car accident, just on his way from Huila to Luanda.

It is the intention of the federation to choose four international candidates, during the holding of the 15th national championship in Lubango city, from next 20 to 30 November, he said.
