Istambul - The coach of Angola's basketball male team, the Portuguese Luis Mgalhães, expressed his disappointment at the lack of organisation of the Angolan federation (FAB) and said he will ponder about his continuation at the head of the team, ANGOP has learnt.

After the 121-66 defeat against the United States, on Monday, he said to the press that there are many non fulfilled duties by the federation and that he needs motivation to continue, once his contract is to finish in 2011, after the African championship.

"We need more respect. Angola has participated in various world championships, Olympic games, but the organisers are still amateur. There were no conditions to work for the ninth place, the Angolan team were the last to choose a coach and the possibilities of making good results were slim", he explained.

He added that he took the job due to a debt with the players that had much pleasure in his continuity.

Luis Magalhães also said that the absence of the player Armando Costa had a great influence in the country's performance, as he is the best point guard of the country.
