AMUD explains national meeting at press conference

Luanda – The holding of the first national meeting about women in sports from 14 to 16 September in Benguela will be a matter of press conference on Friday morning at the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) in Luanda, Angop has  learnt.  

 

According to a statement signed by the chairperson of the Angolan Association of Women on Sports (AMUD), Teresa Quarta, the conference with national and foreign journalists will address issues on the event whose objective is to analyse the problems of women in the sport and beyond.

 

The provisional programme of the meeting provides the approach of topics like Sports School- a Hotbed Right to Change, Sport a Tool for Social Change, the Law and Sport and health- Sport and Women.

 

Elected in February 2009 the members of AMUD defined as priority target mass campaigns in neighbourhoods, lectures and seminars, advocacy and call for a creation of legal diploma referring to the inclusion of women in sport.
