Two fighters reach black belt at kickboxing competition

Luanda - The Angolan athletes Edgar Tavares and Márcio Rangel conquered the black belt at the international tournament of kickboxing, held in Santa Isabel, São Paulo state, Brazil, between August 20-23, ANGOP has learnt.

 

The mentioned athletes are now kickboxing instructors for conquering twice an acceptable number of medals in fighting with opponents of superior category.

 

Edgar Tavares, who conquered the greatest number of medals in 2009, said to the press, at Luanda 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, that this merit will serve for helping this sport grow in the country.

 

On his turn, Márcio Rangel said he will continue working to reach Olympic competitions and the dream of being a great master in this sport.
