Kayseri– The Angolan national basketball team player, Olímpio Cipriano, might miss the Monday’s match against USA for the 8th final of the world cup taking place in Turkey, due to an injury.

The information was released Saturday to Angop by the team’s physician, Agostinho Matamba.

According to the doctor, there are few chances of the player to perform in the game against USA, taking into account the seriousness of the injury.

He said suffered an injury resulting from the game against Germany.

 
He said that was the game to be played on Saturday or Sunday, there was no chance fo Cipriano (1,96 metres) to play, adding there might be a positive evolution on Monday.

Olímpio Cipriano (28) is a relevant player of the national basketball team in the ongoing world cup. He comes 17th on the standings with 59 points (14.8 median per game) and one of the most reference of the African championships.
