Luanda– The deputy minister of Sports, Albino da Conceição admitted on Wednesday in Luanda that the country has capacity to occupy prominent places in the competitions of the zone IV (Southern Africa) of the continent and the rest of the world.
According to the official, who was speaking at a press conference held at the Stadium 11 de Novembro, more organization and proper planning is required to reach success at international arena.
He referred the basketball (male) and handball (women) as the modalities most obviously beyond the boundary were won several continental titles besides good participations in the World Cup and Olympic Games.
Albino da Conceição highlighted also the modalities of Karate Do and Teakwood with higher performance in international events.
The deputy minister encouraged private businessmen to help government in sport development just like what is happening in the other countries.
