Kayseri - The coach of Angola's basketball team, Luis Magalhês, guaranteed that the squad will give their best against the United States of America, at the eighth-finals of the world championship, although he acknowledges the opponents superiority, ANGOP has learnt.

Luis Magalhães said in Kayseri, Turkey, where Angola played the first stage of the competition, that he will transmit confidence to the athletes for this game that may represent the surpassing or not of the ninth place achieved in Japan2006.

The Portuguese coach considered the United States of America as one of the best teams of the world, but he guaranteed that he will not put his hand down.

“We will play against a super power, I can only say that we will do our best”. 

 
Angola ended the first stage of the competition in the fourth position in group A and will play against the United States of America at the eighth-finals.
