Luís Figo Foundation, Kandengue Association donate sports equipment

Benguela - The Luis Figo Foundation and Kandengue Habilidoso (skilful child) Association, which promoted a solidarity game together Saturday at National Stadium of Ombaka, on Sunday afternoon gave a kit of sports equipment to the SOS Children's Village on the outskirts of the city of Benguela, in order to encourage football games between children.

The delegation, which included former footballers Luis Figo (Portuguese) and Fabricio Alcebiades Maieco Akwa (Angola), among other players, took to that institution soccer balls that were received with applause by the children.

However, the head of product, planning and marketing of Movicel, which sponsors the event, Davi Fraga told Angop that the philanthropic gesture is designed to encourage children to play  soccer in the village.
