Luanda – The Angolan national women football team was eliminated from the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations of October this year in South Africa, After drawing 1-1 in a second leg match on Sunday at Ombaka national stadium, in central Benguela province.

Captain Irene opened the score for Angola in the 51st minute of the game, before the opponents, in the 86th minute, scored, thus kicking Angola outnof the race as Namibia had won the first leg match 2-1.
