South African referees whistle Angola/Madagascar match

Luanda – South African referees led by Ibraim Abdul will officiate on March 27 the game between Angola and Madagascar at 11 November Stadium in Luanda for the second leg of CHAN to be hosted in Sudan in 2011, Angop learnt on Thursday.

 

The chairperson of the Central Council of Referees, Jorge Mário Fernandes said that Ibraim Abdul will be backed up by referees Malebo Toco and Reselles André while Angolan Pedro dos Santos will be the fourth referee and the Mozambican Aurélio Matias the commissioner.

 

In the first leg match for the African Home-based Players (CHAN) the two teams played to a goal-less draw.

 

First edition of CHAN was organized by Cote d'Ivoire and won by the Democratic Republic of Congo.
