Angola's wheelchairs in Paralympics for first time

Luanda - Angola will participate in London 2012 Paralympic Games (England) with wheelchair athletes, in an unprecedented appearance of the last four editions of participations.

This was announced by the chairperson of Angola’s Olympic Committee (CPA), Leonel da Rocha Pinto.

Leonel Rocha Pinto stressed that 25 professional wheelchairs have been  purchased in Hong Kong, China, for the event.

Angola made its debut participation in the 1996 Paralympics Games of Atlanta (United Stated of America), followed by Sydney (Australia2000), Athens (Greece 2004) and Beijing (China2008).
