Académica do Soyo debut with victory over Nigerian Enyimba team

Luanda – The Angolan senior males football team of Académica do Soyo defeated on Saturday the Nigerian Enyimba club by 2-0, in the first leg match of the preliminary phase of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup.


The match was played in the northern Cabinda Province’s Chiazi national stadium.


In the first half, Académica do Soyo were already winning by 1-0.


The goals were scored by Alberto at 10 minutes and Cabick at 79 minutes.


With this game, Académica do Soyo debuted in an African cup in football.


The second-leg match will be played between 3 and 4 April in Nigeria.
