Luanda – The Angolan club of Atlético Petróleos de Luanda commemorated its 30th year last 14 January and will organize a large programme of social activities with modalities like handball, basketball and football.

The fact was revealed to Angop on Tuesday by the deputy president for associativism Amaral Aleixo adding that the programme was not organized in January because of the African Cup of Nations.

The handball team will work with the project against children death and basketball team works with Angolan Association in the fight against of HIV/AIDS while football works with Blood Donors Association.

A tournament dubbed Petro 30 years will be held from 26 to 29 March with teams like 1º de Agosto, Electro do Lobito and Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA).

The club was created on 14 January 1980 and has modalities like handball, basketball, volleyball and roller skate hockey.
