Angolan captain optimistic about match with Madagascar

Cabinda – The national soccer team’s captain, Carlos Alonso “Kali” Friday said he believes in Angola’s victory over Madagascar, in the first round match qualifying for the African home-based players championship (CHAN) taking place on Sunday.

Speaking to the press before travelling Friday to Madagascar, Kali stated that the purpose of improving the national team’s competitive level was achieved with the five-day training in northern Cabinda province.

The national squad captain stated he does not know well the opponents since they have poor participation in African competition.
