Luanda – The coach of Petro de Luanda, Bernardino Pedroto, Sunday in Luanda recognised the way footballers of 1º de Agosto reacted in the two matches of the football super cup, with highlight to the 1-1 draw in the second leg match of Sunday at Luanda’s Cidadela stadium.
Speaking to the press, the coach said that the opponents were very tough adding that despite the consistency of his players, 1º de Agosto were superior in the last minutes of the match.
“We admit a merit to the opponents, with their humbleness 1º de Agosto won the super cup trophy. I am happy about my team for the fair play during the competition”, he said.
The coach regretted the fact that his player, Mabiná, missed an opportunity to score an imminent goal which would consolidate the result.
Job scored the goal for Petro de Luanda, whilst Danny Hangunyu levelled the score for 1º de Agosto.
In the first leg match, Petro de Luanda lost to 1º de Agosto by 2-1.
