Police pledges security in the match Egypt-Algeria

Benguela - Over 1,300 police effectives are ready to keep security during the match Egypt-Algeria for the semi-finals of the african nations football cup Orange-Angola 2010 to be played today in the Ombaka Stadium, in Benguela (south coast).


According to super-intendant Ernesto Haiyamunya, second police commander in Benguela, the strong policing is necessary to prevent possible disorders between the fans of the two national teams, who will be widely separated, following the incidents occurred in previous matches of the two squads.   


Ernesto Haiyamunya stated that no seriour incidents were reported in the Ombaka stadium, since the begining of the tournament in Benguela on January 12, asking the eans to keep the civility shown up to now.


The other semi-final match will be played beween Ghana and Nigeria at Independence stadium in Luanda.
