Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto in African Champions League finals

Luanda, – The Angolan senior females handball teams of Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto will face each other Friday in the finals of the African Cup of Clubs, happening in Douala city, Cameroon.

 

In order to reach the finals, Petro de Luanda beat Inter Club of Congo by 35-22, while 1º de defeated Rombo Sport of Cote d’Ivoire by 27-21. This is the first time two Angolan teams face each other in finals of the Champions League of Clubs.

 

In the males category, 1º de Agosto lost to GSP of Algeria by 22-17 and seek to reach the third position.

 

Kabuscorp do Palanca, who are the national champion, will play Sael of Cameroon Thursday evening for the fifth position.
