Petro de Luanda, 1º de Agosto in African Cup finals

Luanda – The Angolan senior female handball teams of Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto will face each other next Friday in the finals of the African Clubs Cup, taking place Douala city, Cameroon.


 
In order to reach the finals, Petro de Luanda beat Inter Club of Congo by 35-22, while 1º de defeated Rombo Sport of Cote d’Ivoire by 27-21.


 
This is the first time that two Angolan teams face each other in finals of the Champion Clubs League.


 
In male category, 1º de Agosto lost to GSP of Algeria by 22-17 and seek to reach the third position.


 
Whilst Kabuscorp do Palanca, who are the national champions, will play this Thursday evening against Sael of Cameroon for the fifth position.
