CAN2010 to bring benefit to Angola - church leader

Luanda – The African Football Cup of Nations (CAN) the country will host in January 2010 will bring significant gains to the  country.

This was said said Friday in Luanda, by the reverend of the Baptist Evangelic Church in Angola (IEBA), Kamukotelo João.

Speaking to Angop, Kamukotelo mentioned the construction of stadiums and implementation of greater projects of hotels, railways and roads.

He also spoke of the programme being developed by the Angolan government focused on rehabilitation and construction of infrastructures such as airports, power stations, water systems and beautification of the cities which, according to him, are key to the country's growth.

"We must be committed  so that the dream of the African Cup of Nation  becomes a reality in the country, because the greatest gain will be the construction of sport facilities and affirmation of Angola in the route of the great African and world sport achievements", said Kamukotelo João.

According to the Reverend, the event is an opportunity for Angolans to show the world their potential in all aspects and promote  social and moral values in order to leave a good impression to the international community.
