Angolan runner benefits from scholarship in Portugal

Luanda – The Angolan athlete Nicolau Palanca will fulfil as from next 2 November in Portugal, a one-year training in athletics, ahead of the new Olympic cycle that will end up with the London2012 Olympics Games.

 

This was said to Angop Thursday in Luanda by the chairperson of the Angolan Athletics Federation (FAA), Carlos Rosa.

 

According to him, this scholarship is part of a project of his institution, which is supported by Lusiada University.


 
The athlete of Recreativo do Libolo in the coastal Kwanza Sul province will train in Portugal’s Benfica club.
