Luanda, – The supreme court chief justice, Cristiano Andre, today considered the African Nations Cup Orange-Angola 2010 to be held from January 10 to 31 a reason of joy and pride not only for the host provinces of the competition but the whole nation.
Addressing Angop at the Luanda international airport, Cristiano André said that there is already some enthusiasm by angolans to contribute for the best results of the national squad adding that there is the feeling the country is mobilized and ready to host the biggest sports event in the african continent.
"I am also excited about the commitment of the countrý's public and private institutions and I hope that all citizens of this country are filled with the same spirit" - he said adding that the tournament will certainly bring many sports, economic, social and cultural gains to the country and will leave many memories.
"Let us keep our fingers crossed for the victory of our team"- the chief justice stated.
The African Nations Cup will be played in Luanda (Angola, Algeria, Malawi and Mali), Cabinda (Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana and Togo), Benguela (Benin, Egypt, Mozambique and Nigeria) and Huila (Cameroon, Gabon, Tunisia and Zambia).
