Benguela musicians publicise CAN2010

Benguela – Musicians from central Benguela province will organise shows around the region in December this year, to publicise the African Football Cup of Nations (CAN2010) Angola will host in January.

The shows will be held within the framework of a provincial government  plan linked to the African competition, according to a source.

Speaking to Angop, the source said the government intends to publicise the African cup in all communities of Benguela, saying that music can help stimulate people into turning up to watch the games.

Benguela will host the group C of the competition with Nigeria, Egypt, Mozambique and Benin.
