Hotels ready for receiving visiting delegations during CAN2010

Benguela – Managers of hotels in Lobito District, in the coastal Benguela Province, are waiting at any time for the request of their services by official delegations that will participate in the African Football Cup of Nations (CAN), also being dubbed “Orange-Angola2010”, which the country will host next January.

Speaking to ANGOP, last Monday in Lobito District, the director of one of the hotels, Luís Gouveia, said that his establishment  comprises 38 bedrooms and it is ready to accommodate any guests at any moment.

This position was also manifested by the other manager, Pedro Bandeira, who guaranteed that his hotel has 32 bedrooms available.

Both officials said that their hotels have conditions to accommodate the two national teams that Lobito District will receive.

The two hotels are based in the centre of the town and five kilometres away from the training stadiums of Académica do Lobito and União Recreativo da Catumbela, thus it will facilitate the works of the teams.

The other two teams will be accommodated in Benguela City.
