Luanda - The chairperson of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Justino Fernandes, urged the national squad to use more offensive objectivity and cohesion in approaching the game, at a time the preparation for the African Cup of Nations (CAN2010) is in progress.
Speaking to the press Saturday at Cidadela stadium, during the friendly game between the national squad and their counterpart from Congo-Brazzaville, the official said he disliked the national team’s performance.
The national team played their first game at home on Saturday since Manuel Jose stepped in as the coach, in replacement of Oliveira Gonçalves.
However, he said he believes the team will do better in the game with Ghana on Wednesday.
According to Justino Fernandes, the in game played with Congo Brazzaville the team failed a lot, which complicated the score. But he said that a good performance was more important that the result itself.
To the official, the national squad needs to change strategy in the next friendly game against Ghana, which is scheduled for next Wednesday at Cidadela stadium, in Luanda.
