CAN2010 a world door opener - official

Luanda – The deputy chairman of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Eufrazina Maiato, said that the holding of the African Cup of Nations (CAN2010) in Angola will open doors and show to the world that the country is real and visible without any distortions, even through foreign television networks.

Speaking Tuesday at an international conference on football in Luanda, Eufrazina Maiato said that those television stations will have a good opportunity to show how Angola is in reality and how its people are.

According to her, this natural marketing of image will permit the breaking of a lot of taboos regarding the country and the citizenship by contributing to the creation of identity platforms that may open doors of exchange of ideas and cultures, which is the right way  used to build friendship among peoples.

The sport official said that the hosting of CAN2010 is a sustainable project with advantages in the development of infrastructures in various fields.

According to her, CAN2010 will bring about a huge panel of models and samples  that will mark in a positive way the imaginary and ideals of youths, with the presence of Angola in this African football event.
