Media minister checks journalists working conditions in Lubango stadium

Lubango – The minister of Social Communication, Manuel Rabelais, is starting this Monday a one-day visit to Lubango City, where he will assess the working conditions in the new stadium of the southern Huíla Province, for the journalistic coverage during the African Cup of Nations in football (CAN2010), which the country will host in January.

 

Huíla Province will host the matches of group D.

 

In this trip, the minister is being accompanied by general directors of public media organs and by another senior staff of his department.

 

During his stay in this province, Manuel Rabelais will check the communication systems and live broadcasting booths for radio, television and press services in the main and support stadiums.

 

According to his work programme which reached ANGOP, the media minister will also meet with the provincial governor of Huíla, Isaac dos Anjos, as well as will have a brief meeting with staff from the local social communication department, so as to listen to the preoccupations of journalists about the event’s press coverage.

 

The accommodation for the national and international journalists will also deserve the attention of the Media minister.
