Football team coach blames poor performance on home pressure

Luanda - Angola's national football team coach, Manuel José, Saturday in Luanda expressed dissatisfaction at the performance of the squad in 1-1 draw with Congo Brazzaville, blaming it on pressure for playing at home.

Speaking to the press, the Portuguese coach explained that the fact of playing for the first time at home since he became the leader of the team has negatively affected the performance of the players who failed to show their competitive character.

He considered the game against Congo Brazzaville as the worse so far.

The national team is expected to play  Ghana on Wednesday, in Luanda, as part of its preparations for the African Football Cup of Nations (CAN2010) set for the four Angolan cities of Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda and Huila.
