Luanda - The Angolan defender of Benfica de Luanda Amaro joined the national squad of football to replace Yamba Asha who is injured.
The “Palancas Negras” are preparing the friendly match against Republic of Congo slated for Saturday at Cidadela stadium and Ghana on 18 November in the same field.
Petro de Luanda defender (Yamba Asha) has a muscle injury and may lose also the match against Ghana.
Amaro, considered by the team’s head coach, Manuel Jose, as the third option for left wing after Asha and Gilberto, will have one more chance to show his potential.
The national squad is working at Coqueiros stadium twice a day with most of the players, except Hernani and Stelvio who are due to arrive on Tuesday in Luanda, while André Macanga and Mateus Galiano are expected on Wednesday.
The summoned players are: Carlos (Rio Ave of Portugal), Kaly and Dedé (Arles-Avignon of France, Hernâni (Santa Clara/Portugal), Gilberto (Al Ahly/Egypt), André Makanga (Kuwait Sport Clube/Kuwait), Domenick (NEC/Netherland), Stélvio (União de Leiria/Portugal), Zé Kalanga (Dínamo Bucharest/Romania), Djalma (Marítimo/Portugal).
