Japanese ambassador invites fellow citizens to visit Angola during CAN2010

Benguela - The Japanese ambassador to Angola, Kazuhiko Kinshasa, said last Sunday in Lobito District, in the central Benguela Province, that he has been appealing to his fellow citizens to visit Angola during the holding of the African Cup of Nations in football (CAN), which will happen from 10 to 31 January 2010.

Speaking to ANGOP, the diplomat said that his objective is to make the Japanese entrepreneurs and tourists to grab the opportunity to know Angola during the holding of CAN, as they only listen about this African country through the media.

“We want to see the Japanese people who will watch the matches in the World Cup, in South Africa, in 2010, stop over in Angola for them to learn about the reality of this country after the armed conflict whose people is determined to rebuild the nation”, he said.

Kazuhiko Kinshasa is in Lobito District in the framework of a tour of the provinces of Benguela, Huíla and Namibe to learn about the socio-economic programmes that his government and non governmental organisations of Japan are implementing in those localities.
