ENE pledges round the clock power supply to Camama Stadium

Luanda – The adviser to the chairman of the board of directors of the National Electicity Company, Lucas da Silva, today pledged a full time power  supply to the Camama Stadium and surrounding areas, during the African Nations  Cup - Orange 2010, to be played in January.

 

Addressing Angop, mr da Silva stated that the lightening of the new staduim and  surrounding areas is a task of the National Electricity Company.  

 

According to the adviser, the Luanda Electricity Distribution Company (Edel) still can not supply the whole city and taking into account the coming christmas  and new year feasts the National Electricity Company will strive to secure a  round the clock to its controlled areas.  


                     
He explained that the power supply for the new Stadium and surrounding areas is proceeding from the Cambambe Hydro-electric dam, as the new power station line  supplying the Camama area.    

                                                   
                                                                                
Asked about the lightening of the roadways Luanda/Viana, Cacuaco/Viana/Cabolombo  and Zango/Calumbo he said this is a responsability of the government of Luanda  province.
